Eight trades under one contract. Each one is priced the same way — a free site visit, then one itemised written figure, which only changes if you agree a change in writing. Every job is backed by our ten-year workmanship guarantee. We work across Barnsley and up to 30 miles around it, from Cudworth, Wombwell and Hoyland to Wakefield, Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster.
Block Paving
Herringbone, basketweave or stretcher bond, laid on a properly compacted sub-base that will not sink.
Priced per m², on the block you choose and the sub-base the ground needs.

Softened edges and a riven face, in warm tones.

Driveways
From worn concrete to a driveway that transforms the front of the property. Edged, jointed and finished clean.
Priced per m², plus access, excavation and taking the old surface away.
A driveway is the whole build, not one material: excavation, sub-base, edging and drainage. Choose the surface it is finished in — block paving or tarmac.
Tumbled block, grey
Softened edges and mixed sizes, in cool grey.
Standard block, brindle
Rectangular blocks in a red and charcoal mix.

A single unbroken surface, edged in block or kerb. The straightforward choice for a long or awkward drive.

Priced per project, after the site visit.
Landscaping usually combines several of the surfaces above with planting, levels and drainage. The site visit is where we work out which.

Repairs & Maintenance
Re-sanding, re-setting loose blocks, pressure washing and straightforward repairs, including work installed by others.
Priced per visit, on how much of the area has to come up.
We take on repairs to work we did not install. If it cannot be repaired honestly, we will tell you that instead of taking the job.
Pressure washing
Moss and ingrained dirt lifted off the surface.
Re-jointing
Failed joints raked out and refilled.

The colours, sizes and finishes run far wider than that, and choosing between them is easier with the samples in front of you and the house behind them. We bring the catalogue with us, go through it in daylight, and leave you with the range written down beside your quote.
