Every driveway is different, so we price after a free site visit. You receive one fixed written quote, and that is the price you pay, unless you agree a change with us in writing – for example if something unexpected turns up under the old surface. It depends on the size of the job. A small patio or a repair can be a single day, while a full driveway is usually around a week from excavation to completion. Before we begin, we give you an estimated start date and how long the work should take, in writing.

Fully insured, with proof of cover available on request.

Usually not, provided the driveway has proper drainage. We build so that rainwater is managed correctly, and we will tell you plainly if your property is an exception. Our guide to planning permission for a driveway explains the rule.

Our workmanship, for ten years from completion. If something we built settles, lifts or comes loose because of a fault in how we built it, we come back and put it right at our cost. It does not cover damage from things outside our control, such as tree roots, a utility company digging it up, accidental damage or extreme weather. The full terms are part of your contract, and your contract is with DNC, whoever was on site that week.

Yes. There is nothing to pay and nothing to sign, and no obligation to go ahead. We look at the area, the ground and the access, and then give you a fixed price in writing.
